Martin Bogren is a photographer based in Malmo/Sweden. His work stems from a personal documentary tradition and often contains a poetic sensibility. Recently Martin has exhibited in Scandinavia, USA, France, Poland and Italy. His project ‘Lowland’ is to be exhibited at Fotografiska in Stockholm in September 2011 and the book will be published by Max Ström in connection with this exhibition. In the 90s, Martin photographed bands and concerts in the Swedish music tradition and in 1996 he published his first photo book ”Cardigans-Been it” based on these tour photographs. He has since then mainly photographed personal work, combining portraits with documentary work. [Bio]
